Angela McDonald, Superintendent/CEO & Board President - Mrs. McDonald began working at Advantage Academy during its foundational years and has helped to develop the school from a mom and pop school to a multi-campus organization where it takes the knowledge of a team of experts in their field to keep quality and standards in place. She expects her team to be both highly professional and highly personal and works to hold the organization to high standards and will not accept the status quo.

Mrs. McDonald received her bachelor's degree from Oral Roberts University and her master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Regent University.  She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Educational Leadership at Dallas Baptist University.  Her heart for children and her desire to improve education for all students stirred her interest in teaching. She completed her teaching internship in Paris, France, and then went on to teach in the Dallas area. She realized that although teaching wasn't her passion, she did have a passion for education and that's when she began to pursue administration.

She is 100% committed to the vision and mission of Advantage Academy and is always willing and ready to accept new challenges and opportunities. It is her desire to continue with Advantage Academy for the remainder of her career where she plans to continue what Dr. Allen Beck started and to grow the organization in both quantity and quality.

Mrs. McDonald says that she loves her career and considers it her calling, but her greatest joy comes from just hanging out with her husband and children. She believes that children are a gift from God.
