Heart and Home Ministries: Partnering Pals Mentoring Program
Partnering Pals is a mentoring program run by the nonprofit organization Heart & Home Ministries. Established in 2010, Partnering Pals mentors students at Advantage Academy's Dallas, Waxahachie, and Grand Prairie West campuses.
Students are referred to the program by teachers, and permission must be obtained from the parent or guardian for the student to be assigned a mentor. Mentors and their student meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis at the child’s campus. In addition, mentoring events are held throughout the school year, such as at Christmas and the end of the year, to help establish a relationship between the mentor, student, and family.
For continued growth and success of the program, “Partnering Pals” is always in need of caring adult mentors. For more information or to become a mentor, please visit https://www.heartandhomeministries.org/mentoring-education or contact:
All interested mentors must submit a mentor application and pass the required background check. Click here to apply to be a mentor.
