Head Principal Mrs. Danna Forbes-Martin
My name is Danna Forbes-Martin. I have had the pleasure of serving as Principal of Advantage Academy Waxahachie for two years. I previously served as the Principal of the AA Grand Prairie East high school campus. Before becoming a principal, I taught grades 6-12 in English, Social Studies, participated in ESL programs, and served as a varsity cheer sponsor. I received my bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University - Commerce, and my master's degree is from the University of Texas at Arlington. I am currently pursuing my doctorate from Dallas Baptist University.Motivating others to be their best is my passion. I am all about getting to know my students' interests and making learning a life-long experience. I consider it both a pleasure and an honor to take part in the foundation of their education. One of my greatest accomplishments is traveling the world to interact with various cultures and share my knowledge. I have taught lessons at schools in Minakulu, Uganda and Tirana, Albania!
Assistant Principal Mr. Herbert Fitzpatrick
My name is Herbert H. Fitzpatrick. I serve as Assistant Principal, Student Discipline Administrator, and Transportation Manager for Advantage Academy Waxahachie. I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with a dual major in Political Science and Secondary Education. I conducted my graduate studies at Texas A&M University - Commerce in Educational Leadership. As Assistant Principal/Student Discipline Administrator, I love having the opportunity to profoundly impact the lives of young scholars both academically and socially. I love being a part of a committed team in helping to provide a supportive and nurturing environment so that every child have the opportunity to achieve greatness, regardless of the challenges they may face. In my free time I enjoy listening to all types of music, but especially, gospel and jazz.
