New Gifted & Talented Program

Advantage Academy is now accepting nominations for the Gifted & Talented Program for students in grades 3-6 for the 2014-2015 school year. Students may be nominated by parents, teachers or administrators. A special screening session for transfer students new to the district is held in September of each new school year.

AAND MS Boys Soccer 3rd in District

Congratulations to our AAND boys MS soccer team for finishing 3rd in the district. "Coach Dally taught her team how to play with integrity and with a purpose. The boys learned alot from her this season and we are looking forward to next season." said AAND Discipline/Safety Coordinator Mr. Ramos. Coach Allen & Coach Ward also contributed to the team this season as well.

Advantage Academy is is in our first year participating in the Texas Charter School Academic & Athletic Association and the 2013-2014 is the first year for soccer as well.

STAAR 5th & 8th Re-tests Dates

STAAR Reading & Math retests will be held for 5th and 8th graders at all AA campuses on Tuesday, May 13th and Wednesday, May 14th.

If your child is re-testing please have your child eat a good breakfast and bring a water bottle each of these days.

AAGP Lady Eagles Softball News

AAGP Lady Eagles Softball team beat Covington High School last night 10-0 for the "Senior Night" game.

Our pitcher, Marci struck out 10 hitters. AAGP played their biggest season ever with 22 games. 15 of their games were played against likely UIL playoff contenders.

The last game of the season is a double-header this Friday 4/11 at 4:30 pm at Italy High School in Italy, TX. AAGP is currently in 4th place right behind Italy!

Great job Coach Blosser & the Lady Eagles Varsity Softball Team!
