INSPIRING A PASSION FOR READING AND WRITING

I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. This is my 3rd year teaching ELAR at Advantage Academy.  With more than 10 years as an educator, I have had the privilege of teaching elementary and secondary students Reading and Writing. 

I am committed to affirming academic excellence in tomorrow's leaders by engaging each student with a challenging curriculum that enhances growth in reading and writing skills. This school year, students will experience strategies for comprehending and responding to a diverse collection of genres. They will also receive instruction in developing proficient writing skills.
