Hello! My name is Summer McCormick and I teach 6-8th grade Science here at Advantage Academy North Duncanville. I have been teaching science for 7 years now. I have taught 7th grade for 7 years, 8th grade for 5 years and 6th grade for 3 year. This is my 6th year at Advantage Academy.

I went to college at the University of Central Arkansas and have a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. While working in the social work field, I found my passion for teaching students. I got my teaching certificate and started teaching! I have loved it since I started. 

Science is a passion of mine. I love finding out and learning new information about our world and the way it works. The beauty and wonder in the world amazes me! I want to share how amazing this world is with my students by making learning fun and relevant to them.
