Welcome!

I am so happy to be teaching 1st Grade again this year for Advantage Academy in Waxahachie!  This is my 18^th year in education, and each year brings me more wonderful learning opportunities with my students.

I have been married to my husband John 37 years, and we have two sons.  We are blessed to have a beautiful little granddaughter!  Her name is Sophia Rose, and she is a treasure!  I have a Master of Education degree, and have been a Registered Nurse as well as an educator.  I have always had a teacher’s heart, and "there's no place like school"!
