My name is Jim Wright II, and I have had the great pleasure of leading the Advantage Academy Grand Prairie West Campus for 2 years now. Before coming to Advantage Academy, I led a small elementary school in the south Dallas area for five years, leading the school to a National Blue Ribbon Award in 2018. I have been in the teaching field for over 15 years, teaching 2rd grade for 5 years and serving as a principal for 6 years. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Ministry and Leadership from Dallas Christian College, a Master of Education in Leadership from Grand Canyon University, and I have now finished my course work and have begun working on my dissertation for my Doctorate in Education.

I have been married to my childhood sweetheart, Debbie, for over 41 years. Debbie and I pastored for over 28 years before I entered the field of education. My passion is education and working with my teachers and students. I also love hunting, fishing, and camping with my family, which includes 5 grandkids.
