Hello! My name is Ms. Simmons and I teach 6-8th grade Math at the Grand Prarie West campus. This is my 5th year as a teacher and my first year at Advantage Academy. I love teaching math because the productive struggle and the concepts covered are useful far beyond the classroom. The greatest tool in learning math is a positive growth mindset.  I am most excited about how much we are going to improve this year! I can’t wait to see you all in class!

Absent: Students will receive 1 day for each day of missed class to make-up for missed work. The student is responsible for asking for their missed assignments.

Late Work: Work that is turned in late is minus 10 points for each day late and will not be accepted after the third day.
