Hello Advantage Academy Families! I am the 4th grade English, Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies Teacher at Advantage Academy Dallas. I have had the privilege of being of service as a Professional Educator for 16 years. I am excited to join the outstanding team at Advantage Academy in "Building Champions with a Future and a Hope".

My undergraduate studies were at the University of Texas in Arlington.  While there I started teaching our Sunday School Program King's Kids at my church.  I was then promoted to the Director of King's Kids. I discovered my gifts of Teaching and Administration. I changed my major to fulfill my calling to teach children.  My Bachelor's Degree is in Elementary Education and Communications (Speech). I got my Teacher Certification in Self Contained and Speech Communications grades 1-8.

I want to share how amazing this world is with my students by making learning fun and relevant to them.

I believe all students can learn.  It is my passion to help all students achieve success in their education.
