Hello! My name is Jocelyn Hill and I teach 1st grade at Grand Praire West. This is my 4th year in education and my 1st year at Advantage Academy.  I taught Kindergarten for 3 years, and I have worked with Pre-K 3 & 4 and PPCD (Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities).  

I love teaching because there’s no better sound than hearing that “Aha” moment in class. At that moment, you’ve expanded someone’s knowledge by sharing some of your own.

I am a proud mother of one. Outside of being a teacher, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, I like shopping, and I also enjoy journaling and reading.
