Welcome, my name is Vernal Simms, Sr. This is my first year at Advantage Academy. Although this is my first year, it is not my first year teaching. I have been teaching science for 10 years. I moved to Texas from Pennsylvania about a year ago. In Pennsylvania, I taught science at the Nativity School of Harrisburg. I live with my beautiful wife Vanessa and we have 6 adult children and twelve grandchildren. When I am not teaching, I serve as the state Bishop of Texas for the Covenant Kingdom Fellowship Assembly of Churches.
