Principal, Mr. David Henderson

I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as the Principal of Advantage Academy’s Grand Prairie West campus. I look forward to helping our students grow in ways they did not think possible and accomplish things they never thought they could. I strongly believe that our students have the potential to achieve high levels of academic success. Students that attend our Advantage Academy campuses communicate at high levels and are capable of quickly learning and applying new knowledge and skills. Through the use of best practices, we can help our students reach their full academic potential and prepare themselves for success at PK - 8 so they are prepared to meet the demands at our high school campus.

The safety and security of our students and staff is a top priority at GP West. Without a feeling of security, our staff will not be able to do their jobs to the best of their ability. Without feeling safe, our students will not be able to learn. Working with our dedicated Central Office staff, our staff will ensure that Grand Prairie West is a school that provides the best possible environment for learners and educators. My greatest hope is that all stakeholders, including students, parents, staff, and the community, can rely on Grand Prairie West to provide our students with the knowledge and skills they will need to succeed as they continue their journey in education here at Advantage Academy and beyond. A champion culture begins with commitment, and I share all of your commitment to the students at Grand Prairie West. Together, we can achieve all we need to achieve. We can be champions.
