Career and Technical Education (CTE)

Career and Technical Education courses are designed to prepare students with technical and professional skills necessary to succeed in today’s high-demand occupational environment. Students have the opportunity select various programs of study and to utilize their academic skills in the following career fields: Engineering, Graphic Design & Multimedia Arts, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Accounting & Financial Services, and Manufacturing Technology. These programs provide a variety of elective courses from which students are allowed to select and are in addition to the academic courses required for graduation. Courses provide students the potential for college credit, industry level training, certifications, and internships that can be aligned with students’ priograms of study. Click here to visit the Texas Education Agency website and learn more about CTE programs of study.

Career and Technical Education can assist a student exploring his/her potential and establish future career goals.
